Whether it’s for your walls, furniture or cabinetry, picking the right paint colour can be overwhelming with seemingly infinite options available out there!  

As interior designers we cross this challenge almost daily and whilst we do always have our favourite ‘go-to’ colours that have been tried and tested over the years, there is nothing more fun than testing out a new colour!

Squid Ink

There’s no denying that there is a lot of Navy’s out there! That said, Squid Ink has to be one of our favs! It’s the perfect balance of rich yet soft tones that you never would have thought you needed in a navy!  We can see this colour on walls in a feature space or across some custom joinery!

Popcorn

Specifying a white paint for our interiors is a must for almost every project! Popcorn has to be one of our favs from Porter’s, an off-white that’s the perfect backdrop to our interiors.

French Green

Green will forever be a prominent colour throughout interiors, no matter the style.  We in fact just finished up painting a project with this colour (French Green) which has made us fall even more in love with it!

Dragons Eye

We are so stoked to see such bold colours coming back into play throughout interiors! This colour (Dragon’s Eye) caught our eye in Porter’s current capsule collection, we would love to see this pop of colour paired back with a complimenting wallpaper to make a statement!

Rubble

Rubble is definitely a go -to in our books!  We more frequently find ourselves leaning towards this colour for our customised joinery and in spaces that already carry a lot of colour and pattern – simple & soft (much better than a plain old stark white!)
