If you tuned into our Instagram stories last Thursday night you would know all about our Bauble making workshop / PJ party here at the studio!
Every year, in the lead up to Christmas we step away from our roles designing and building for a couple of hours and try our creative hands at something a little different. We are all huge fans of the festive season so it’s not hard to channel our inner-self and find something to bake, decorate, wrap or paint!
Last years wreath making workshop with family and friends was a huge hit! So this year we decided to have PJ party and decorate our tree DIY style! We collected the perfect spread of everything we needed to make our own baubles and let our creativity run wild!
With the help of the very talented PixelPunk we were able to capture our crazy festivities on camera to share!
Despite some glue gun hogs (we won’t mention any names) and polyfoam ‘fake snow’ spilling literally everywhere! It was such a fun (and somewhat competitive) night with Sarah (our Project Manager) taking out the annual “BEST OF” for the second year running!
The best part was decorating the tree as a team in our pj’s whilst sipping on champagne and listening to Christmas Carols. We usually put on our own feast but this year we kept it simple and got SayCheese to provide some beautiful and delicious grazing platters. Oh and our friends at Mio Cupcakes baked us the most beautiful wreath inspired cake, which tasted just as divine as it looked!
The boys were running a little late (let’s be honest 6pm site closures is the norm this time of year). We didn’t mind one bit though, and put the time to good use, enjoying a few sundowners on the balcony whilst we waiting for them to arrive.
With the year we all have had, it was nice to just stop, let our hair down and be merry! We just love this gang and appreciate all their amazing hard work throughout the year. Darren and I certainly could not do it without each and everyone of them.
Seasons Greetings!!
