DEVILS IVY ~ “EPIPREMNUM AUREUM”
Devils Ivy, also know commonly as Pothos, is a lush vine resilient to most climates and conditions. This hardy plant is literally impossible to kill, and I know a lot of green thumbs bravely say that about a lot of plants, but this one is seriously unstoppable! Iconic for it’s juicy shinny follage and long trailing sprouts, the devils ivy is our top plant pick for any room! A lovely feature on the bathroom vanity, a high shelf or coffee table greenery.
SNAKE PLANT ~ “SANSEVIERIA TRIFASCIATA”
If you are after a unique feature plant for your space, look no further then the snake plant. Eye catching in form and colour, this plant is beautiful choice for any living room planter or balcony deck. Not only is it visually appealing but this one actually cleans the air in your home aswell! Thriving in low light areas with minimal water, this straightforward plant is sure to bring life to your space.
SWISS CHEESE PLANT ~ “MONSTERA DELICIOSA”
Looking after a monstera is an absolute breeze, with it’s love for warm climates and low light conditions this plant is perfect for our Queensland environments. Featuring many of the perfect house plant qualities, this one needs space to grow and stretch. With its long stalk and large oversized leaves, it often grows up and out – sometimes a support post can be a good way of encouraging a structured growth.
FIDDLE LEAF FIG ~ “FICUS LYRATA”
The wide lustrous leaves and defined veins of this leafy tree will add generous fresh foliage to any room. This popular indoor plant loves the sun, so perfect for bright light filled spots near windows or doorways. We know the fiddle leaf became one of the most hyped indoor plant in the world of interiors, but we still have a love for its organic falling form and hardy characteristics.
RUBBER PLANT ~ “FICUS ELASTICA”
With its thick deep tonal leaves, the rubber plant is renowned for its full large foliage and varying scale capabilities. This plant will naturally adapt in size depending on the pot in which it is planted in, forming the perfectly proportioned tree for your indoor space. Similar in environmental qualities to the fiddle leaf, this tree loves light however never place in harsh direct sunlight – filtered light is best!
