Kitchens and bathrooms get so much of the attention when it comes to interior design, but when it comes to time spent in a space, when you really think about it the bedroom is extremely valuable!!!
Bedrooms are one of our favourite spaces to design, we personally love the challenge of learning about our client’s personal wants/needs and style and putting our own twist on it. There are so many elements that make up the perfect bedroom, but it really comes down to finding the perfect balance between function and style. If your room serves the opportunity, bed ends are a great way at achieving both!
We love how this bed end has opened the opportunity of adding in softer upholstery that counterbalances the strong, sturdy features around the rest of the bedroom.
Now this is the perfect example of how to maximise space! The open, fresh feel of this room lends itself to creating a separate seating arrangement that draws your focus to the outdoors at this dreamy Californian location.
At our ascot residence this bench seat by Living Edge is that perfect piece that ties this space together. The simplistic form and striking pop of colour acts as a feature piece for this dreamy guest suite.
The raw imperfect finish of the frame creates a ‘lived in’ feel to the otherwise crisp and clean linear elements of the space. The rich colour also brings forward the brass framing on mirror sitting in the background.
This plush sofa sitting pretty at the end of the bed at our Underwood Residence master suite opens the space up to the luscious view that is the Australian Bush. Sofa’s are an inviting feature and not to mention a great way to add functionality to a bedroom.
Who said a bed end has to be a seat?! What about a piece of furniture!!! This simplistic bed end follows the same curved design language of the ceiling whilst also acting as the perfect accent piece for coffee table like styling
