We’re all back in the studio today, officially kicking the new year off after many of the team return from adventures overseas or some well deserved RNR over the new years break! As hard has it can be to say good bye to the end of a holiday, it sure does feel motivating to have a full house today in the studio as we catch up and discuss all the exciting things to come this year! Actually shocking that we are somehow approaching the end of January already, where did those weeks go?!
So as we look to all the prospects and plans for 2019, we thought what better way to start then to reflect upon all the incredible things we achieved in 2018. From endless supplier events and overseas trips to design fairs, to the many projects we were lucky enough to be a part of – it surely was our busiest year to date. It feels like we say that each year, but it definitely just keeps getting busier then we ever thought possible. However we wouldn’t have it any other way!

We got to work with so many lovely clients through out 2018, who allowed us to create a unique vision of their dream home and craft it with beautiful finishes, fixtures and furnishings from many of our favorite suppliers! Nothing beats a happy client who gets to fall in love with their new home right in front of our eyes, sure makes all the hard work worth it every time.
And with so many beautiful spaces, came quite a few design award wins for us! We secured awards at both the KBDI and HIA awards nights in 2018, ending the year on some fantastic Queensland wide winnings such as Kitchen of the Year and Bathroom of the Year with our Redland Bay Residence, and Residential Decorator of the year with our Underwood Residence. All the hard work definitely paid off that night, and we surely did celebrate the best way we know how!
With a year of endless projects happening in the studio, we still made sure our team had a year to enjoy. With too many supplier event nights to count, multiple trips to Melbourne for design fairs like Denfair, an amazing time at Milan Design Week, decedent team birthday lunches and a generous array of after work wines – We really wouldn’t want to have balanced out our work life balance any other way!
We are constantly so proud and amazed by all of the hard work our team puts in, both in studio and onsite! Without the passion and determination of our team, trades and suppliers we would never have been able to achieve all these phenomenal accomplishments!
