Being a natural marble, this stone will beautifully age over time creating an ever changing character to the kitchen.
Shou Sugi Ban Charred Timber Cladding
Breaking away from conventional choices, we’ve introduced Shou Sugi Ban Charred Timber Cladding by Mortlock for the cabinetry. With it’s distinctively rich, dark finish it not only exudes elegance but durability and sustainability. The material, which is rooted in Japanese tradition not only celebrates the natural qualities of the product but it’s longevity makes it the perfect hero surface for the hub of this family home.
The tactile quality invites the natural light to interact and highlight the natural characters and textural variations of the timber beneath, seamlessly integrating into it’s surrounding natural materials.
Blackened Steel
With it’s clean streamlined form, the blackened steel subtly enhances the rangehood’s impressive size all whilst seamlessly complimenting the unique charm of the adjacent finishes. The durable qualities of blackened steel has created the perfect dynamic of marrying form and function.
Raw Aged Bronze
This kitchen is the perfect example of why we love mixing metals! The exquisite execution of the custom detailing allows the bronze to highlight the unique character and formwork throughout. The intentional raw finish allows the metal to accept the daily use of the space, celebrating the natural characteristics of the material.
‘Brick-Look’ Ceramic Tile
Selected from an architectural ceramic range manufactured with traditional Japanese craftsmanship. The distinctive tile introduces a robust touch whilst meeting the modern functional needs of a scullery space. The meticulous artistry of the tile, whilst serving a striking contrast also celebrates authenticity along with the surrounding materiality.
